There's a lot of hype around that film. Its good, production values are high, but not sure if it can be classed as a fan film though as those guys are not your average fanboy with his dads camcorder. Their professionals. Its still a good ilm though. Very moody. Definitely worth the download time.

The woman who made this worked with Stan Winston so cant really be called a fan film. Batman looked a bit camp but kept the darkness needed for Gotham City, love the final shot and the part where the Joker got eaten.

Well it was directed by a MAN. And yes, he is an industry pro. That short probabaly cost more than what most of us here earn in a year.
He's worked on some big projects ranging from Jurrasic park (he designed the logo and boarded for speilberg) to creature designing for MIB, Robocop, Total Recall. He direct comercials and a bunch of big budget shorts.
It's still a fan film though. It wont make him any money. Its just a fan film at a different level.

Two things annoyed be BADLY
1) the greay batman suit
and worse
2) The lightsaber sound when the first alien ties. I was sure a jedi would show up. But no.. a preadator. That sound is SO starwars
